You are lucky if it is your charge nurses....But go another step up and I bet the majority of advocacy is for maybe the patient, but I would bet the bottom dollar that the real advocacy is for administration, the physicians then patients, nurses...WELLLLLLL, way down the line. And this is from 30 years of practice seeing decisions made, that the consideration for nursing practice and nursing work conditions and safety are too far down the line...
